Combining rustic charm, innovative design, and a rich woodworking history, The Venta Suites is a stunning getaway set at the heart of Betis, Pampanga. This boutique leisure destination is an experience steeped in local craftsmanship and heritage. The visionary behind this transformation, Lieza Bituin, took a former wood kiln facility and turned it into a chic retreat that tells a story in every corner.
The word "venta" is inspired by the concept of ventilation and the Spanish translation for a countryside inn. This clever play on words perfectly captures the essence of the space—an inviting retreat that combines history with hospitality.
The design of The Venta Suites is a celebration of both nature and industrial heritage. One of the standout features is "Makina Park," a beautifully curated area combining old machinery, gardens, and relaxing spaces for guests. This park allows visitors to stroll, take pictures, and connect with the history of the furniture manufacturing process that once dominated the area.
The Jewel of The Venta Suites
The property features several chambers, each designed to showcase the original components of the kiln drying facility. The fourth chamber, the largest suite, boasts a spacious layout with a bedroom, living room, and private pool, perfect for those seeking exclusivity and comfort. This one-bedroom suite includes a living room, a private pool, and a dining area. The room was created by combining two original kiln drying chambers, allowing for a spacious and comfortable stay.

The bedroom features a luxurious king bed with a stunning hand-inlaid accent panel, showcasing the craftsmanship of their factory. The bathrooms are equally impressive, featuring clawfoot bathtubs that provide a touch of vintage elegance.
Luxurious Amenities for a Relaxing Stay
In Chamber Three, guests can enjoy a spacious layout with a private pool, ensuring an exclusive and relaxing experience. The decision to include private pools in the design was influenced by the growing demand for privacy during the pandemic, allowing guests to unwind in their secluded oasis. Lieza’s love for gardening is also evident in the strategically placed indoor and outdoor plants, adding warmth and tranquility to the space. Marrying greenery with industrial elements creates a unique ambiance, making guests feel at home while still immersed in nature.
Chambers One and Two are designed with versatility in mind. Each room offers similar amenities, with variations in bed arrangements to accommodate different guest needs. After observing the preferences of guests, private plunge pools were added to these chambers, enhancing their appeal and providing another layer of luxury.
Another exciting addition to The Venta Suites is the Container Bungalow. This space was creatively repurposed from an old shipping container, offering a smaller, cozier version of the main suites. Guests can expect all the signature features, including a private indoor pool and a stylish black bathtub, making it perfect for families or those seeking a unique stay.
Community & Fun by the Pond
The Venta Suites also fosters a sense of community among guests. Once part of the warehouse, a space is transformed into a welcoming area where families can enjoy entertaining activities like foosball, table tennis, and board games. One of the fun features is the "K Gym," where guests can lift weights made from acacia slabs, combining fitness with creativity. This playful approach adds a unique touch to the guest experience.
