This piece is a part of my Bintana series. In this series, I interpreted the frame as a window through which a tired-looking man gazes outside, consumed by thoughts of something that has left him feeling defeated. Perhaps it is a personal problem or a painful memory from the past, brought on by circumstances beyond his control, despite his best efforts to succeed in life.
