Sustaining Balance III, Oil Painting On Canvas

This oil painting on canvas is by Jessa Almirol. Jessa Almirol (b. 1991) is born and raised in Quezon City Metro Manila and is a Filipina visual artist who graduated in Far Eastern University with a bachelor’s degree major in Painting under the Fine Arts Program. She started her career in the art industry during college and was formerly an exclusive artist in a gallery based in Manila.

From then on, Jessa has had numerous group exhibitions including in art fairs, and in other events. She was part of an exhibition “Kalayaan”, staged at the Vietnam National Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, and “Borderless Space” for Jogja Art Fair in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Her art projects and collaborations trained her to be diverse on different fields in the arts, which led her to become a co-founder of an artists-run gallery in Quezon City called Super Duper Gallery. Simultaneously, she is part of a faculty, teaching classical methods in an art school, Galvez Atelier.
