Andrei Solmirano is a self-taught artist from Caloocan City, Philippines. She was the eldest among 3 siblings and discovered her love for painting at an early age. As other children grew up anticipating toys, Andrei, as a child, looked forward to art books and art materials her parents bought. Art became her joyful escape, a much-loved hobby during weekends, holiday breaks, and after school. Andrei's first paintings showcased her favorite subjects - sunsets, nature, and floral paintings, which eventually grew to different styles, capturing a broad range of subjects - from beloved pets to portraits, and abstracts. Some of her most notable works include commissioned paintings that beautifully captured things her clients cherish, making the creation process even more meaningful!

Though Andrei started painting at a young age, she didn't fully pursue art until 2020. After years of doing various jobs in the corporate world, she knew it was time to pursue her craft full-time, so Yadah Art and Music was born. "Yadah", taken from a Hebrew term meaning, "to throw, extend or lift hands in thanksgiving and praise," she approaches her artworks as an expression of her faith and an invitation for others to lift their eyes and experience God's love and goodness.

With these artworks, I am reminded of these truths:

• No two items or designs are the same. Each one is unique and special. Just like me and you.
• I am pleased with what I make. Just like how God was pleased when He made you.
• I’m delighted when I make, restore & transform things. Just like how God delights in restoring & transforming you.
• I love the variety and the vibrance of colors. Just like how God enjoys creating people in different colors.
• Each one is beautiful in my eyes. Just like each one of us, no matter what the world says, is beautiful in God’s eyes.
• May each artwork inspire you and lead you to worship Him who’s the original Maker of art and beauty.
