Duyan Lounge Chair

Description

Imagine a duyan (hammock) by the beach shore or in between coconut trees on a farm but only designed as a lounge chair. This is the Duyan lounge chair. A piece evoking the lightness and the peaceful levitation of a popular Filipino cultural icon. The chair is wrapped with wicker weaving of the rattan, and leatherette cushion base.

1. Gently clean and dust regularly with a soft cloth.
2. Dry rattan furniture well. A damp cloth with a mild furniture cleaner may be used, but take care not to soak the furniture.
3. Lift rattan furniture when moving it. To avoid splitting the fibers, don't drag your rattan furniture around.
4. Rattan fibers can fade in strong light. This is a natural process and not necessarily bad. However, if possible, rotate furniture on a regular basis to evenly distribute the fading.
5. Keep furniture away from areas of severe heat as this can warp or dry out the furniture.
