Description

The understated sophistication of a blue and bronze colorway has never looked as inviting as it does in the Mijare Serving Bowl. Handmade in a traditional ceramic bowl silhouette, this glazed demi-matte serveware makes for a striking addition to your homestyle tableware collection.

About the Artist

Celebrated craftsman Ugu (Augusto) Bigyan creates ceramic art at his own potter's garden in Tiaong, Quezon. Self-taught in pottery, Ugu gets inspiration from nature.

His medium is clay, the raw material for his terracotta bricks, chimes, vases, wall decors, ceramics and various works of arts. His nature-inspired art pieces find their way in the souvenir shops and rooms of posh resorts like Amanpulo, El Nido, Boracay Shangri-la and Crimson Hotel. Queen Sirikit of Thailand even invited him twice to showcase his craft to the Thai people in a royal art festival.
