Description
Every home needs versatile dinnerware, and this set of three ceramic Ochre Serving Bowls can easily be used for a variety of purposes. Thanks to its handmade nature, each bowl has unique features that keep its streamlined silhouette dynamic. Glazed in a warm tone, these bowls are a little taller than your usual pieces so that they can hold soups and saucy dishes too.
Celebrated craftsman Ugu (Augusto) Bigyan creates ceramic art at his own potter's garden in Tiaong, Quezon. Self-taught in pottery, Ugu gets inspiration from nature.
His medium is clay, the raw material for his terracotta bricks, chimes, vases, wall decors, ceramics and various works of arts. His nature-inspired art pieces find their way in the souvenir shops and rooms of posh resorts like Amanpulo, El Nido, Boracay Shangri-la and Crimson Hotel. Queen Sirikit of Thailand even invited him twice to showcase his craft to the Thai people in a royal art festival.
