Description
Transport yourself to the Japanese islands with the Aduana Sushi Plate collection. Handmade using natural finish ceramic with a deep blue glaze reminiscent of the pottery style of traditional Japanese artisans., this set of 3 rectangular plates also has slightly upturned borders to keep sauces and fresh fish from slipping. Perfect for serving individual sushi sets or for serving delectable dishes.
Celebrated craftsman Ugu (Augusto) Bigyan creates ceramic art at his own potter's garden in Tiaong, Quezon. Self-taught in pottery, Ugu gets inspiration from nature.
His medium is clay, the raw material for his terracotta bricks, chimes, vases, wall decors, ceramics and various works of arts. His nature-inspired art pieces find their way in the souvenir shops and rooms of posh resorts like Amanpulo, El Nido, Boracay Shangri-la and Crimson Hotel. Queen Sirikit of Thailand even invited him twice to showcase his craft to the Thai people in a royal art festival.
